Why I’m Doing World Race – Gapless Gap year

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to everyone reading this post. I am so thankful for all the love and support I’ve received so far. And can’t wait for this next chapter of life I’m about to start. Many of you might have questions about what I’m specifically doing this coming fall, and that’s exactly why I am writing this. I’ll start off by telling you what exactly World Race is and how I heard of it. World Race is a mission program that helps people seek the kingdom of God and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus. It is an opportunity for me to serve people in need and share the love of God all over the world. In my case, I’ll be all around Europe and Latin America.

I have about six more weeks until I leave on my trip. In a snapshot, I will be out of the country for nine months with a team of people, taking classes and working to serve others.  I will be doing a couple weeks of training with my team in Albania and then I will be taking classes to deepen my relationship with the Lord and serving the people in the countries that I will be visiting. I want to ask for your prayer support. This is going to be an amazing and challenging year for me, but I am excited to see what God has in store for me and the new things that He is going to do in my life as I seek Him.

If you feel led, I am still trying to earn 100% of my funds needed for this trip before I leave at the end of August. I know I am called to this missions trip and that the Lord will provide.
